Aragón Digital, together with other Aragonese media, has renewed its commitment to Unicef with the signing of a collaboration agreement whose objective is to protect children and promote the rights of millions of children who make up this group.
This signing took place at the headquarters of the Cortes of Aragon, the Aljafería Palace. There, the president of the Unicef Spanish Committee, Gustavo Suárez, has emphasized the fundamental role that the press plays in “giving children a voice so that they can say what they think, what their needs are and what they would need to feeling better”. “The media are the loudspeaker and the witnesses who attest to what is happening,” Suárez stressed.
And more than 14,000 children die every day around the world due to avoidable consequences and, in our country, child poverty is especially affected, suffered by around 27% of Spanish children and young people.
